ASCENTS

The most impressive ascents include the towers and peaks of the Roda Valley, Ball Peak, Pradidali's Tower, Pradidali's Peak and Tower, Pala di San Martino, Immink Peak, Wilma Peak, and the amazing Canali Peak.

All these destinations can be reached via the normal routes up to a maximum III grade, or  alternatively via other routes graded III to VII level and opened by famous mountaineers: the pioneers Bettega, Zagonel, Dimai, Rizzi, Langes (from Bolzano), the German Solleder, Rossi, Simon, Wissner, later on Castiglioni and Detassis, Franceschini, Soldà, then in most recent times, Casarotto and Manolo as well as all the mountain guides' generations who have featured in the more than hundred-year history of the Refuge.

Among the most challenging and beautiful routes is the classic Buhl Crack on the Canali Peak, opened by Hermann Buhl during his climber's career.
